DESCRIPTION
Wall ties in formwork are used to connect opposing formwork panels, maintaining the wall thickness and prevents blowouts from wet concrete pressure. They act as temporary tension members, transferring forces, and often remain embedded in the concrete with protruding ends that are later snapped off, reducing waste and improving safety.
APPLICATIONS
- Connects opposing formwork panels across wall thickness, maintaining the specified spacing and structural restraint during assembly.
- Resists concrete pressure during pouring, helping retain wall dimensions, alignment, and form stability.
- Ensures controlled load transfer between panel faces, reducing deflection and supporting uniform concrete placement.
- Performs reliably in repetitive, fast-cycle construction environments, maintaining consistency across multiple pours.
- Withstands tensile loading, vibration, and site handling, delivering dependable performance across repeated installation and removal cycles.
